In days long gone by, King Dhruvasindhu was killed by a lion when he went out hunting. Preparations were made to crown the prince Sudarsana. But, King Yudhajit of Ujjain, the father of Queen Lilavati, and King Virasena of Kalinga, the father of Queen Manorama, were each desirous of securing the Kosala throne for their respective grandsons. They fought with each other. King Virasena was killed in the battle. Manorama fled to the forest with Prince Sudarsana and a eunuch. They took refuge in the hermitage of Rishi Bharadwaja.

The victor, King Yudhajit, thereupon crowned his grandson, Satrujit, at Ayodhya, the capital of Kosala. He then went out in search of Manorama and her son. The Rishi said that he would not give up those who had soughts protection under him. Yudhajit became furious. He wanted to attack the Rishi. But, his minister told him about the truth of the Rishi’s statement. Yudhajit returned to his capital.

Fortune smiled on Prince Sudarsana. A hermit’s son came one day and called the eunuch by his Sanskrit name Kleeba. The prince caught the first syllable Kli and began to pronounce it as Kleem. This syllable happened to be a powerful, sacred Mantra. It is the Bija Akshara (root syllable) of the Divine Mother. The Prince obtained peace of mind and the Grace of the Divine Mother by the repeated utterance of this syllable. Devi appeared to him, blessed him and granted him divine weapons and an inexhaustible quiver.

The emissaries of the king of Benares passed through the Ashram of the Rishi and, when they saw the noble prince Sudarsana, they recommended him to Princess Sashikala, the daughter of the king of Benares.

The ceremony at which the princess was to choose her spouse was arranged. Sashikala at once chose Sudarsana. They were duly wedded. King Yudhajit, who had been present at the function, began to fight with the king of Benares. Devi helped Sudarsana and his father-in-law. Yudhajit mocked Her, upon which Devi promptly reduced Yudhajit and his army to ashes.

Thus Sudarsana, with his wife and his father-in-law, praised Devi. She was highly pleased and ordered them to perform Her worship with havan and other means during the Vasanta Navaratri. Then She disappeared.

Prince Sudarsana and Sashikala returned to the Ashram of Rishi Bharadwaja. The great Rishi blessed them and crowned Sudarsana as the king of Kosala. Sudarsana and Sashikala and the king of Benares implicitly carried out the commands of the Divine Mother and performed worship in a splendid manner during the Vasanta Navaratri.

Sudarsana’s descendants, namely, Sri Rama and Lakshmana, also performed worship of Devi during the Sharana Navaratri and were blessed with Her assistance in the recovery of Sita.

Why do we Celebrate Holi?
Holi is celebrated after the full moon day in the month of phalgun (February – March). It is traditionally a harvest festival. Like all Hindu festivals, the reason for the celebration of Holi can be traced to Hindu scriptures and it commemorates the victory of good over evil. The significance of Holi is that victory of good over evil is achieved by a young devotee through his unshakable devotion for the Lord.
The date of Holi celebration depends on the moon and lunar calendar.
Holi Myth based on Prahlada and Demon Holika
Young Prahlada was an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu but this was detested by his arrogant father, Hirnakashyipu, who was the king of the land. The father constantly sought for ways to eliminate his son and each time he failed miserably. But this only hardened his stance.
Now, the king had a sister named Holika who was immune to fire. So, she took young Prahlada and entered into fire. Legend has it that Prahlada came out of the fire without any burns but Holika was consumed by the fire. Huge bonfires that are burnt on the day prior to Holi symbolize this event from mythology.
Holi Legend based on Krishna and Radha
Holi is also associated with the evergreen love of Krishna and Radha. Krishna was jealous of Radha’s fair color and asked mother Yashoda for the reason for Radha’s fair color. Yashoda jokingly said if you are so jealous change her complexion by smearing color. Naughty young Krishna was waiting for an idea for a prank and did exactly as his mother suggested.
For Krishna devotees, the festival is spread over two weeks. The most important events are held at Vrindavan, Mathura, Barsnar and Nandgaon.
Holi Myth based on Kamdev and Lord Shiva
Another important Holi legend is associated with Kamdev, the god of love. After the death of Sati, Lord Shiva took to severe meditation. Sati took rebirth as Parvati and tried to impress Lord Shiva. When her feminine charms failed, she took the help of Kamdev. Not knowing the seriousness of Lord Shiva’s meditation, Kamdev used his arrow of love on Shiva. The infuriated Shiva opened his third eye and turned Kamdev into ashes. This happened on the Holi day.
Holi Story based on Demon Dhundi
Another myth revolves around the demon Dhundi. She had received several boons through intense penance. Soon, she became arrogant and started killing children and eating them. But once Lord Shiva cursed her that she will be helpless before the pranks of young boys. One day a few boys in an intoxicated state took on her and started hurling abuses. The pranks of the boys increased as time went by and she could no longer tolerate it. Finally, she ran away from the area.

59 लोग जो साबरमती एक्सप्रेस में मारे गए, वे इसलिए मारे गए कि वे हिंदू थे और अयोध्या में राम मंदिर बनवाना चाहते थे। क्या यह कोई ऐसा गुनाह था जिसके लिए उनको ज़िंदा जला दिया जाए?

790 लोग जो सारे गुजरात में मारे गए, वे इसलिए मारे गए कि वे मुसलमान थे... और कुछ मुट्ठीभर मुसलमानों ने (अब वे चिह्नित हो चुके हैं) एक ट्रेन में आग लगा दी थी जिसमें 59 हिंदू मारे गए। क्या संदिग्ध अपराधियों का धर्म और इन 790 लोगों का धर्म एक ही होना इतना बड़ा गुनाह था कि इनके किए की सज़ा उन्हें दी जाए?


59 लोगों की जान लेने वाले 31 लोगों को उनके किए की सज़ा 1 मार्च को मिल जाएगी।


लेकिन 790 लोगों की जान लेने वाले हज़ारों लोगों को – जिनमें एक नाम नरेंद्र मोदी का भी है – अपने किए की सज़ा कब मिलेगी... कभी मिलेगी भी क्या?

क्या ये वोही डेमोक्रेसी है जिसका सपना महात्मा गाँधी ने देखा और सीने पर गोली खायी थी.
क्या फायेदा हुआ उनकी कुर्बानी का.
इस देश मे कश्मीरी खुश नहीं है कश्मीर मे, झारखण्ड और छतीसगढ़ मे नक्सली हो रही है वह की जनतां.


जो नेता बन गए है घोटाले पर घोटाले कर रहे कोई आदर्श सोअसीटी, कोई 2G घोटाला, कोम्मोन्वेअल्थ गेम घोटाला और ना जाने क्या क्या????
जो पकड़ा गया वो तो दुनिया क सामने है और जो अबी भी नै पकड़ा गया उसका क्या.
मेरी नज़र्रो मे तो अबी सता को दूसरी पार्टी के हाथो मे जाना ही चाहिए सही वक़्त आ गया है और वो दूसरी पार्टी कोई भी हो सकती है BJP ,NDA ,CPIM ,या फिर कोई REGIONAL पार्टी क्यों की जब तक सता कोई दूसरी पार्टी नै संभालेगी तब तक पूरी तरीके से ये साफ़ नै हो पायेगा की आखिर घोटाला हुआ किता बड़ा है और ये सिर्फ कर सकती है जनता.

-इंदिरा ने सरकारी दस्तावेजों में नेताजी के जीवित होने के संकेत देकर देश के सभी स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों में उनको सर्वोच्च स्थान दिया और उनके प्रति देश की कृतज्ञता प्रकट की.
-टीवी चैनल ने 1945 से लेकर इसके बाद के पचास वर्षों में विभिन्न अवसरों पर लिए गये नेताजी के अनेक चित्र प्रदर्शित किये.
-नेताजी के जीवित होने के अनेक सरकारी और अन्य देशों के प्रामाणिक दस्तावेज़ भी सुदर्शन न्यूज़ ने दिखाए.
-अनेक वयोवृद्ध लोगों ने प्रमाण देते हुए बताया कि नेताजी कब-कब किससे मिले.

कुरुक्षेत्र के एक प्रतिभाशाली पत्रकार श्री प्रदीप आर्य ने अपनी वर्षों की खोजबीन और शोध के आधार पर दावा किया कि अपने प्यारे नेताजी किसी बड़े गुप्त लक्ष्य को लेकर चलते रहे हैं, जो अखंड भारत के पुनर्निर्माण से जुड़ा है.
